“Health Trends in Hawaii” represents a collaboration of many organizations to assemble a profile of health and health care in Hawaii, designed for use by legislators, health care providers, health care officials, and advocates, consumer of health services, business leaders, employers, researchers, students, and all those interested in learning more about health care in the the state of Hawaii. This data book is designed to “tell a story” of health and health care in Hawaii in a structure way. Data/information is organized into five sections dealing with demography, health status, the health market, health resources, and health resource utilization.
