ICD-10 Webinar OVERVIEW:
ICD-10 code sets are slated to replace the ICD-9-CM in 2013. This session will give you information on preparation of implementation and provide a basic understanding of the new conventions, formats, chapters, a bit about each chapter, differences, few mapping issue, ICD-10’s importance in version 5010 claims, and guidance on what steps you can take to get ready. You probably heard the rumors that you need a medical degree to code the new code sets. Not true! A coder has a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology. In this session, the intention is to give you a taste of what you need to know and how to prepare yourselves. You will not be disappointed!
